Soapbox Science 2017 Palermo

On the 10th of June 2017, 16.30-19.30, Piazza Verdi (in front of the Teatro Massimo) in Palermo will become an square of scientific learning and discussion. The top female Sicilian scientists will take science to the streets of this city that has recently become the 2018 Italian Capital of Culture, engaging the pubic with their own innovative research. The event mission is always the same: to inspire the next generation of scientists helping in eliminating gender inequality and stereotypes in science! You can read about our local organiser team and how this event came to existence here. The event is free.
